Back to School (and it feels so good)
Only a year out of undergrad, here I am back in school. This time around, I’m completing a certificate in phlebotomy. I am taking Applied A & P, Medical Terminology, Interpersonal Communications and Orientation to Health Care and I’m loving it so far. As someone who has been passionate about health, I did not take a single health science related course during my undergrad. Instead, I was somewhat of a misfit in my math courses. I can’t say that I regret majoring in math, because it shaped who I am today. But I can say that I’m pretty much overjoyed to be in health related classes. I’m just soaking up all this new knowledge that will be so useful when I start my nurse practitioner prerequisites in the spring.
